El proyecto LIFEGarachico tuvo el placer de participar en la reciente Feria «Arucas y el Mar», una experiencia enriquecedora donde logramos acercarnos a numerosas personas interesadas en la conservación marina. Esta feria nos brindó una oportunidad única para compartir más detalles sobre nuestro proyecto, con el apoyo de nuestros compañeros de la Universidad de La Laguna y elittoral, quienes se sumaron a esta importante jornada de divulgación.
The day was full of interactive activities, where the little ones played a leading role. They were able to explore how the ocean works through creative experiences, such as creating postcards inspired by the beautiful sea of Arucas. These activities not only allowed them to learn about marine life, but also to express their artistic vision of the ecosystem that we must protect.
In addition to connecting with the public, the fair was an excellent platform to highlight the work we are doing at LIFEGarachico, focused on the preservation of the marine environment and how each of us can contribute to this global effort. The interaction with families, children and professionals in the sector allowed us to raise awareness about the importance of caring for our oceans.
From the LIFEGarachico team, we would like to thank all the people who visited us and showed interest in our project, as well as our colleagues from the University of La Laguna and the elittoral for their unconditional support. We are excited to continue spreading the message of marine conservation at future events and to continue inspiring new generations to take care of our environment.
